Feeding time is sure to be a challenge if your child likes to eat junk food all the time.  Making him finish his vegetables may end up in a fit if you don’t know how to deal with your child’s food preferences.  Here are a few tips on how to make him 100% nourished and happy.

First and foremost, talk.
If you explain to your child why you make him eat fish and beans instead of his favorite chips will help him know that it’s for his own good.  Talk to him about the kinds of food that kids his age need to grow healthy and strong.

Be a role model.
Adults need good nutrition too, so being a role model to your children will make them follow your footsteps and make you healthy as well.  Serve nutritious meals for the entire family and slowly ban junk food at home.

Have your child help prepare the meals.
Instead of letting him watch cartoons, ask him to help you prepare the meals—like rinsing the cherry tomatoes for the salads or peeling the bananas for desserts.  If he has a contribution in the preparation of the meals to be served, he will not only feel happy about it, but proud as well.

Reward him with sweets.
Kids love candies and anything sweet.  Every now and then, surprise your child with a handful of sweets as a prize for eating healthy food for one whole week.

Give him delicious milk he’ll love.
Keep your child 100% nourished with balanced meals and Lactum 3+.  It has all the nutrients found in the food pyramid, plus DHA, Prebiotics and fortified levels of Iron, Zinc and Iodine to make him grow healthy, strong, and properly nourished.
