Congratulations 2014 Queens of Bb. Pilipinas!

Binibining Pilipinas, the country's most prestigious beauty pageant, proclaimed its new queens for 2014 in a glamorous, highly-charged show at the Smart Araneta Coliseum last March 30.
The pageant was a star-studded affair with the participation of Miss Universe 2013 Gabriela Isler and Russian singer-songwriter Emin. Gabriela led this year's Board of Judges, while Emin serenaded the candidates with his best-selling hits. ABS-CBN stars Xian Lim and Anne Curtis, and beauty queens Shamcey Supsup, Venus Raj, and Janine Tugonon hosted the event.
The 2014 Binibining Pilipinas Queens are:
  • Mary Jean Lastimosa, Miss Universe Philippines 2014
  • Mary Anne Bianca Guidotti, Binibining Pilipinas International 2014
  • Yvethe Marie Santiago, Binibining Pilipinas Supranational 2014
  • Kris Tiffany Janson, Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental 2014
  • Parul Shah, Binibining Pilipinas Tourism 2014
  • Laura Victoria Lehmann, Binibining Pilipinas 2014 1st Runner Up
  • Hannah Ruth Sison, Binibining Pilipinas 2014 2nd Runner Up
Rounding up the Top 15 Semifinalists were Julian Aurine Flores, Joanna Angelica Romero, Pia Wurtzbach, Emma Mary Tiglao, Zahara Mae Soriano, Mae Liezel Ramos, Kenneth Santiago, and Nichole Marie Manalo.
After joining the pageant for the third time, new Miss Universe Philippines 2014 Mary Jean "MJ" Lastimosa finally won the coveted crown. "Sobrang surreal yung feeling. Three years in the making ito for me. Sobrang taas ng level of happiness ko ngayon," she exclaims.
Her victory was even made sweeter because she was crowned by Miss Universe 2013 3rd Runner up Ariella Arida and Miss Universe 2013 Gabriela Isler. "Sobrang kinikilig ako! Pero in-imagine ko talagang silang dalawa ang mag-t-turn over ng crown sa akin. I was claiming it. Totoo pala talaga yun," MJ shares.
Binibining Pilipinas-International 2014 Mary Anne Bianca "Marianne" Guidotti is looking forward to fulfilling her duties as the country's representative to this year's edition of Miss International. "My mom said, ‘You know, you're going to be remembered as the country's representative to Miss International 2014 and it's never going to be erased. That will be your legacy.' I'm expecting to do a lot of hard work for the training, but I also want to do charity work," she says. Marianne worked as a Technical Assistant of the Executive Director at the NGO Community and Family Services International.
On the other hand, Binibining Pilipinas-Intercontinental 2014 Kris Tiffany Janson was star struck when she saw that Miss International 1979 Melanie Marquez was the one to give her the crown. "But when the crown was finally on my head, that's when I realized that ‘Oh this is real!' I was really happy and overwhelmed with the title I won because all my hard work paid off," she shares.
As the first Binibini to win the Intercontinental crown, Kris admits that she is facing an uphill battle. "It will be a challenge for me because I have no previous winner to ask about how it will be, but I am very sure that the whole Binibini family will be there to help me with this fight."
Binibining Pilipinas-Supranational 2014 Yvethe Marie Santiago had mixed emotions when she heard her name called out. "Para kasing after the Q&A and hearing all the good answers of the ladies in the Top 15, it was anybody's game, and I was praying that I get one of the crowns. When my name was called, I was very happy and overwhelmed. I'm really looking forward to having a fruitful year with my Binibini family. I'm excited to go to Miss Supranational 2014 and eventually bring home the crown again," she says.
Parul Shah, this year's Binibining Pilipinas-Tourism 2014, was happy to bag one of the coveted crowns. "When they called my name, hindi ako agad gumalaw. I felt like it had to sink in first that I was proclaimed one of the winners, like, ‘Oh my God I won a crown,'" she says. "I know a lot more doors will open for us; dati kami yung kumakatok, now the opportunities come knocking. It's going to be a year of exposure, charity work, opportunity, and I hope to make the best out of it," Parul adds.
First Runner up Laura Victoria Lehmann, the youngest in this year's batch of winners, is also a pageant newbie. "Actually I was very surprised that I even made it to the Top 15, because I am very new this whole thing, and just a few months ago, I was in school. I didn't know that one day I would be on the same stage with these girls. I couldn't believe it, and it's an honor that I get to receive the same training as the queens. I'm very happy."
"When they called out my name in the Top 15, I was already very happy, because last year I didn't make it to the semifinals. When I was called to be 2nd runner up, I was shocked at first, but happy as well. I had mixed emotions. But I'm very happy with the winners, they're all very deserving. Also, I feel lucky that I get to experience everything that they get to experience so I feel that I also have a crown," adds 2nd Runner up Hannah Ruth Sison.
This year's queens will try to match, or even exceed the back-to-back victories of Miss Universe 2013 3rd Runner up Ariella Arida, Miss International 2013 Bea Rose Santiago, Miss Supranational 2013 Mutya Johanna Datul, and Miss Tourism Queen International 2013 Top 10 Finalist Cindy Miranda, in their respective pageants.
